Mutliple Exposure Photography
Some time ago i saw a video on the internet about multiple exposure and the results got me curious. A photographer did a multiple exposure shot of him somewhere in Asia and it looked very nice to me so i took my camera, my tripod and a remote control to try it myself. And this is the trick how to do multiple exposure shots:
- position your camera on the tripod and frame the image so you have enough space around the objet to place yourself multiple times in the picture frame
- Setup you camera with a remote control and take your first shot.
- Move around and take your second shot and so on. fell free to take as many shots as you like.
if you are done with the pictures you need to compose them in Photoshop. Therefore load every picture in one layer and retouch your picture with the eraser tool.
this is how the result looks:
Multiple Exposure of me, myself and i. Picture: Florian Glechner
Love that !
But very bad with photoshop... if you can do a tutorial step by step I would be so grateful for it ;-)
Import all 3 pictures in Photoshop in different layers. Then take the eraser tool and erase the foreground where the person in the second layer is therefore I make the first layer invisible and erase the picture where the second person should be.
Alright, will try :D

Very creative. We also used to do fight scenes where we make different poses like we were fighting. Can achieve similar effect in darkness with long exposure and multiple flashes
