Marvel at Table Mountain and its orographic clouds

Hello Steemians,

A beautiful memory of my honeymoon that is well kept in my heart is the excursion I made to Table Mountain, a prominent geological formation that stood at the western end of South Africa's capital, Cape Town.

Very excited in the company of my husband @jesusf04 we ascended by cable car and in a few minutes we were over 1060 meters above sea level. On a rocky plain that according to geological records was formed more than 444 million years ago, during the Silurian and Ordovician periods of the Paleozoic Era.

Its majestic natural beauty made it worthy of being declared one of the Seven Wonders of the World in 2011. I look at the photographs and relive the exciting atmosphere that made me feel the caresses of the orographic clouds that surround this natural monument. I hope you enjoy it.
