Is it worth the electricity use? I mined BTC on my laptop in the earlier days. :)
Wow! If you did in the earlier days, that's great! I hope you kept your BTC and hold them now)
Regarding electricity use - I didn't count, of course that's not much, and I pay fixed fee for electricity in office (which is in general more than I use), something around $15-20
And actually this laptop mining doesn't bring many Gridcoins, but the most important this that I make my small impact into Scientific research)
I ended up spendng most of the coins fom back in the day. :/
Yeah, I looked more into Gridcoin and I guess its for a good cause! Maybe its worth taking some loss on electric. ;)
very nicely done :) you might want to put a small block underneath each one to help with cooling too.
No need for that)) It's cold these days in my office, so actually I might need extra heating tool
I think cooling is needed for such mining tools as ASICs but not for laptops
I remember SETI I loved it. 😎
