Moral inconsistency and censorship.

The only morally consistent person who I ever met, regardless of how wrong he was, who advocated for censorship was out and proud in his position that government should take a marker to the Qu'ran and black out all of the hateful bullshit in the book.

I've read the Qu'ran and the Hadith cover to cover. There's a lot of racist bullshit in there. I don't want it censored.

Most advocates for censorship would place religious texts within protected speech, regardless of how disgusting that speech is.

The morally consistent people in favor of free speech will defend all of it regardless of how offensive the speech is.

The morally consistent people who oppose free speech will see any and all speech censored that's spoken from any pulpit, in any synagogue, or any mosque.

The morally inconsistent people, who make up the majority of people, just censor people via mental ejaculations.
