Ulog : Of work and life

After working overtime for a few days, I finally finished the project I'm doing yesterday and felt so relieved. What's more exciting is that our salary finally got a raise. Not much but a raise is still a raise and we need to be grateful. In all honesty, sometimes I wonder why am I doing this job, why am I not doing what I want. In life more often than not we are stuck on something or somewhere that we do not like and have to deal with it. However I'm often reminded that God does not place us randomly, there must be something we could learn there or even bring something there.

I remember when I first apply for this job and wa sso grateful I got it. It was a few months after my first stay in teh hospital and I was finally able to go out of the house without much fear. that was in late 2014. I told myself that I will work hard and be a worker that blesses others. Yet as time goes by I find myself being dragged down and tired by the negativity around me. There was this one point this year where I felt so hurt that I wanted to leave work right there and then, I had even packed all my stuffs and place it in a plastic bag.

Months went by and still I am here, I wonder why. There are stimes where I still feel tired and want to just let the job go, not even going to worry if I have money later on. But I'm reminded again that God will have the perfect timing for everything and maybe what I learned here is not enough yet, what I brought into this company is also not enough yet. This place is really a place that let me grow as a person, challenging me in many ways.

To a more positive thing, after work I went straight and got a cut for my hair, just a little to tidy it and give myself a bang. Like usual, the hairdresser got my bangs wrong. hahahahah . This has been going on for awhile, people just don't seem to cut my bangs liek how I wanted it. Oh well, I will just wait for it to grow. Right away I went to a cafe where I had my fellowship with fellow cell group members. This week we decided to eat out instead of teh usual worship and prayers at someone's house, to get to know each other.

The place is very near my office but I haven't been there before. I like that it is cozy, though the food won't be in my reccomendation list. The drinks however,are nice

This is Magnum Cappucino, there is a mini magnum ice cream dipped in the cappucino. My friend ordered this while I ordered a green tea latte. The ice cream made the cappucino more creamy and well it just tastes nice. The green tea latte I had was also nice, it doens't have too much caffein so my stomach still can handle it.

The food however didn't meet with our expectation, and we couldn't help being amused on how this spaghetti was dressed.

Hanging out together with my chirch friends is something that I like, I always feel strengthened and refreshed when we chat, as the things we talk about tend to be positive things and we really avoid talking ill about others and other negative thing, so it feels like a breathe of fresh air.
