RE: Morbidity and Mortality among Older Adults

not true. my mom still uses 2 pharmacies. many people i know still use multiple pharmacies. i can get my meds from the VA or walmart and quite often get from both depending on what im doing or getting. the law says you cant shop around for prescriptions but you can fill them anywhere. and there is no way for any pharmacists to know if you have more than one doctor giving you prescriptions that you take to more than one pharmacy. your neurologist can give you a script, your primary can, your nutritionist, your eye doc, and so on and each one can be taken to a different pharmacist with no way to know on their part.

I live in MN and they forced us to have only 1 pharmacy. I used to have multiple pharmacies too. MN Nazi legislators are gungho on the opioid crap and are making an example for the rest of the country especially with Prince dying. Coming to a state near you, lol.

maybe its a state thing. maybe they register your doctor or your name on a list to know if you have multiple doctors issuing you multiple meds. or maybe they list your name on a registry when you sign up with a pharmacy there.
