I've shown some stuff on my ram pump already but this video here will walk you step by step through how I built it from scratch. It is quite easy to do. I am sure anyone who tries this will be successful at it.

I've been thinking about your ram pump.
It seems to me that if you have enough 'head' to operate a ram pump
you could also build a water wheel.
use it to generate 'lectricity...rain or shine.

i don't see why not. i intend to eventually dam my creek and make a small waterfall to add a water wheel for power generation. cant promise when it will get done.

I seem to recall that there are a great many designs.
some of which may NOT require a dam or a pond.
still...a waterwheel looks kinda neat.
ducks and fish approve of ponds...BONUS.

there are for sure. i just have a lot of big plans for this pond. if all goes well it will serve tons of purposes.
