Baby Chickens Hatching

This is a look back at our first batch of chickens hatched by our broody mom hen named Pixie. Followed by her second batch of chickens the following year.

We haven't decided if we are going to let her go broody again and hatch some more yet. She generally starts trying to in April for a May hatching.
