I was walking to the city of Semarang, here I know a lot about the history of science in Semarang .. one by one I browse these historic buildings I visited was Tugumuda, mace sewu & pagoda sam po kong ..

from my trip to Semarang most interesting is to place mace sewu in which when entered into the building mace sewu that we have to pay for the ticket by approximately $ 0.80 when we go in there a lot of doors and called the door a thousand who where when we were not accompanied by guards there then we when signed will not get out of this kembali..wow amazing ..

  • Lawang Sewu

Lawang Sewu building constructed on February 27, 1904 with another name Het hoofdkantor van de Nederlands-Indische Spoorweg Maatschappij (NIS Head Office). Initially the office administrative activities conducted in Semarang Station Warehouse (Samarang NIS), but with the development of rail network path very rapidly, resulting in increased technical personnel and administrative personnel who are not a bit over the development office administration.

At the office consequently NIS NIS Semarang station is no longer adequate. Various solutions do NIS among others rented several buildings owned by private individuals as a temporary solution only adds inefficient. NIS entrust the design of the headquarters building NIS in Semarang to Prof. Jacob F. Klinkhamer (TH Delft) and B.J. Quendag, an architect who lives in Amsterdam. The entire design process is done in the Netherlands, and then the images were taken to Semarang. Viewed from Lawang Sewu blueprint says that the site plan and building plans have been drawn in Amsterdam in 1903.   • Tugu Muda

  • Sam Poo Kong

Gedung Batu temple Sam Po Kong is a petilasan, the former site of the first landing a stopover and Moslem Chinese admiral named Zheng He / Cheng Ho. Located in Simongan area, southwest of Semarang. Building Stone called because of its shape is a huge Batu Caves are situated on a rock, the Indonesian Chinese descent assume the building is a temple because their shapes have chinese building architecture that is similar to a temple. Now the place was used as a memorial and a place of worship or worship as well as a place for pilgrimage. For this purpose, in the stone cave placed an altar, as well as statues of Sam Po Tay Djien. Though admiral Cheng Ho was a Muslim, but by them is considered a god. This is understandable in view of Confucianism or Tau assume the deceased person can provide relief to them ..
