Fruits do contain sugar, but they are re complex carbs which means it takes your digestive system longer to process them, and that the sugar contained in them can be used in a longer amount of time. This is completely different from the added sugar like cane sugar or other transformed products (biscuits, sauces, per packed salty meals etc.)
2️⃣Fruits contain high amount of fibre which help you to have a healthy inner system, and yaah... Helps to flush things away 🙊
3️⃣ The higher in fibre your food is, the higher your body is going to work to process the food, which means that it sort of burns more calories just by eating (higher metabolism). This is also why its recommend to chose food that contain more fibre: brown for white rice, quinoa, whole meal bread and pasta etc.
4️⃣ As long as you reduce sugar from processed meals and drinks, then you shouldn't even worry about how much fruit you intake.
5️⃣ Fruits are low in calories but not as low as in vegetables, either way this means you can have loooooaaads of them (compared to fat, which has a higher calorie density).
