Texas Chicken in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Review

Welcome to Texas Chicken in the Wangsa Walk Mall in Kuala Lumpur. This is a Malaysian chain bringing the taste of Texas to the locals, and a few other non-Texan treats as well.
Here is the line and the seating to the left. We had a big group and took a few tables.
We were not there on a Monday, so this deal was not available.
Outside the door to tempt us!
Here are the prices for the Mexican offerings. None of us got these so I do not know if they are true to Mexican food.
I got the 3 piece tender combo. About $3.10 usd.
5 RM is $1.25 usd. So these are pretty good prices for Malaysia.
This porridge is called Congee in some places and is made with savory rice. It's delicious and they do not serve it in Texas!
No Korean food would be served in a Texas Chicken restaurant. These bowls all have the porridge as a base.
This is a two piece meal with jalapeno poppers on the side. I tried one of the poppers and it was very spicy! Too much for me :)
One friend got a double meal since he was very hungry. He has six strips and a two piece meal that was as spicy as it looks. He thought is was too spicy even for his Malaysian tastebuds. The biscuit was excellent though.
The cole slaw portion is very small. This might be a quarter cup.
This is my chicken strips meal. The strips are very meaty and I have the spicy version. These are very good and the spice was mild. After seeing my friend's two piece meals I thought I should have gotten that instead though.
The french fries were not that great, and I would have been happier with the coleslaw. Live and learn.
I like Texas Chicken and it is nearby where I live, so I will go back. Next time I am getting the two piece meal and coleslaw though!

A great review as always, but unfortunately your review is an international franchise.

I thought it was local to Malaysia! So sorry. Thank you for letting me know, @anggreklestari.
It's okay. Next time, you can google the brand before you add a review, so you don't waste your time. :)
I will definitely. My next review coming is most definitely not a chain of any type. Just a mom and pop :)
