What other five letter words have any relationship with the heart?
No, "love" is a four letter word and so is "beat". Keep thinking.
Anyway, the heart is an incredible "machine" that does quite a lot for its size. And as if the entire physical activities aren't enough, over time, the heart has also been assigned some emotional tasks and responsibilities.
How often do we see references being made to the heart in romantic pieces? "How often does my heart beat for you while also longing for your presence, my dear!"
In the mind of the creative, the heart can take up just any role and do it conveniently well. "My heart would wear a shield just to prevent the wrong one from touching her. She's as delicate as the flower in the times when the sun has gone away."
"The beating of my heart is music to my soul." The usefulness of the heart transcends the biological or physical sphere. "My heart beats faster than a racing car whenever you walk by."
In light of these responsibilities placed on the heart, it has been forced to interact with the forces of evolution. Now, in the words of Selena Gomez, the heart wants what it wants!
The heart now has a mind of its own! And because of this, the head has become the heart's new argument partner. They rarely see eye to eye. Could that be because the head has the two eyes in his care already? The heart always has its own ideas on how everything should be.
The heart is the almighty organ, yeah?
I thought so too, until I fell asleep writing this last night and then it hit me - even the strongest heart can't stop me from falling... asleep.
My heart is very sensitive and and will always dance when it meets the right tune.

My heart does stop me from falling asleep when there's another heart present. Or maybe that was the caffeine.
Lol. I like to come in on the 30 minute mark. Bad habit? Maybe!
Really? Then I must probably love sleep way too much! Or my heart still has loads of gym sessions to go.
