Rain On The Panes.
So when she told me “look beyond you”,
I turned to the window
cos that’s where you always go
to prove you’re an eagle.
The sun rays striking your face
perfectly masks out the demons within,
eating you still
but on the surface you appear made out of steel.
The world tells you it’s okay to cry sometimes,
You tell the world “Excuse me, that’s shit for humans”
but you turn your back and rain on the window panes
Whether it’s summer or it’s winter, to you it’s all the same.
So would you look beyond you now?
It’s okay to have been holding on to things not true.
Open up the floodgates, let the drowning ensue
Break down, pick yourself back up, and be that eagle.

So when he told me "look beyond you"
I searched and saw a reflection of an eagle
Strong,bold,soaring without limit
I liked the thought of it
Magical vibes beyond the ends on this earth
A flash at the mirror brought me to reality
Timid,unsure and miserable
Oh no....
I must find that eagle in me.
A beautiful poem indeed
Great stuff man
What I understand in this poetry is:
Challenges are part of life.......no matter how life tossed us,we must come out clean... And stronger
Thanks for sharing @fisteganos
That was really a beautiful poem you have here, well articulated and chronologically arranged
Kudos to you.
It was really motivational.
I am on the eagle's wing.... No going down
Yes, it's okay to cry when the situation looks unbearable but the drive to to conquer drain the tears.
@fisteganos, thanks for being an inspiration
I'm never gonna lose hope...is the mind of the writer gotten at all? My mood right now!
good writing and post
im no poetry critique but I must say this is beautiful...the two sides of a coin or a man...strength in weakness...deep!
@fisteganos always dishing out knowledge. Wow awesome poem. Every human is prone to breaking down and crying out. But afterwards, be strong again
