Dream For What It's Worth.

Everybody got dreams.
Even the son of a carpenter loves wins
and winners reach for heights
far above the zenith of normal minds. Catapulted into unknown territory
by mere closing their eyes.

I'm learning to never look down on people.
As long as you've got dreams then we are equal.
We had no say in choosing where we are today
but if you decide to take tomorrow by the horn
then in my books, you've already won.

I believe in dreams. Fuck it i'm a dreamer.

I'll see you at the top, you know success looks so familiar.
You dreamed of it, you worked your feet and soon it'll be official.
You'll love the life, perfect as a picture.
In your most comfortable zone doing only things that suit you.

I see your present
but the greatest gift of all is the dream you hang on to.
As long as you feel tall
I don't care if the world thinks you're only 5 foot 2.
Through your eyes I pick my view.
In your mind I see you
without the filters.

I dare you to join the dreamers.

The manifestation of this period of gestation is close,
and in the moment the curtains drop and the vision unfolds,
putting aside the stories of pain untold,
our triumph will be as that of a kid
finally going the distance without falling off his feet.

Then we'll look all around, left to right
and all memories flash right before our eyes.
In the corner, a smile will start to build and eventually turn into a grin
because all we do is win
but back then we had no choices;
all we did was dream.
