Photography Challenges
I hope the people hosting the challenges are OK with this. I LOVE to participate, hate to make too many posts in a day. I am going to try to put my photos for each day's challenges in one post, with each clearly labeled for the challenge it is in. If you are a judge of the challenge and this is NOT OK with you, PLEASE say so in the comments - thank you!
This one is a two-fer: VEHICLE and ABANDONED SHIT WEEKLY entry:
Taken with my Fuji FinePix S8300 last week when the snow was fresh. My neighbor collects... um, everything. This is among his treasures.
HOMESTEAD PHOTOGRAPHY ENTRY - Wildlife / Nature
This is from about 5 years ago, taken with a now dead digital camera. This is the place we stayed while we got some infrastructure started on our land, about 10 miles from here. That "pond" is actually the pasture where we kept Bessie, the river flooded in the night and we were up about 4 AM moving chickens and cows in the dark. Got everyone high and dry, and then watched this amazing sunrise.

I must say this is an amazing view! It is very scenic with the mountains in the background and the water out front. It is great for pictures and I am glad you were able to get everyone to safe ground. Great Job!
Definitely nice way to combine vehicles with the abandoned shit challenge! Abandoned vehicles are always interesting to look at!
Thank you! It has a sad classiness, I thought!
I really like the "pond" pic, captured a great reflection too!
Thank you! I was sort of hoping someone would give me some grief about "where is the wildlife" and I was going to say "Did you not read it? We were up before dawn moving cows and chickens out of a flooded pasture. Life does not get any wilder..."
Oh well! I hope you appreciate my silly joke!
Two for one! I like it! More bang for the post...
Thanks! I hope the people doing challenges are OK with this.
