Is Colloidal Silver Really Medicine?
I see the Pharma whores are back at their silver bashing.
I am a midwest pharmacist's daughter, let me make you feel all right about taking colloidal silver. (If you got that joke, you are a fossil.)😁
THIS is where I learned about colloidal silver:
My Father's Textbook
Before Penicillin Became The "Official" Antibiotic Of Pharma
If You Take Enough Of This You Might Turn Blue
Read the package insert for your prescription antibiotic. You have to go to the section for "professionals" because they do not want you peon patients stopping your drugs because you learned a pesky fact... It is rare, but penicillin (and ALL pharma antibiotics) can KILL YOU. It is rare to turn blue from silver too, and the modern process for manufacturing removes that risk altogether. You know what DOES turn you blue, every time? Dying.
From penicillin warnings:
"Rare (0.01% to 0.1%): Severe allergic reactions (causing angioedema, laryngeal edema, anaphylaxis [severe or fatal])"
https://www.drugs.com/sfx/penicillin-v-potassium-side-effects.html
So keep stackin' but do know how to turn some of that stack into a liquid asset!!! 🤣🤣🤣 (I did the math once, if you price out silver in colloidal form, it is worth something crazy like a couple million dollars per ounce!)
Yes, silver is absolutely medicine, as you've nicely pointed out!!
Both cannabinoids and silver have had their medical properties hidden from us in recent times, but the science is clear that they are legit. I've used both many times over for medical needs. Big pharma is putting colloidal silver into all sorts of things (like deodorant) now, not that I buy any of it. It's for real!
It is a stunning display of cognitive dissonance that hospitals now routinely use silver impregnated linens and such, but doctors still poo-poo the notion that silver is antimicrobial....
The book has instructions for preparing several cannabis treatments also., including tinctures, extracts, and a plaster that has salicylic acid (aspirin) and cannabis. Talk about "lost history..." People (myself included) go digging for evidence of ancient lost civilizations that had technology that has been lost... We need not dig so far back, we have forgotten how to cure ourselves in less than 100 years!
Excellent reminder, and well put. I swear by it, too!
Yeah, I used to have a copy of the U.S. Pharmacopeia from around the turn of the last century, and it's amazing how many prescription medicines had cannabis extracts as their base . . . and they worked!
Colloidal silver is great stuff. I'm hoping to get a machine to make it in the not too distant future.
Yeah! And they still work :D
I how dozens of people personally who are alive right now because they take cannabis oil every day. They have to grow and extract it themselves because it's illegal, but other than going to prison if caught, it works perfectly.
(We thought "legalization" in Canada would end people going to prison for cannabis, but instead, it expanded police and government powers, and doubled the number of cannabis offenses. Also, instead of 5 years in prison per offense, you can do 14 now. So prohibition got worse. The only thing they legalized was for themselves to grow it and sell it to us at 5 times the black market rate. Funds from legal sales go toward raids against the competition, ie the evil black market.)
People are still using cannabis medicine, perhaps in greater numbers today than even back when it was prescribed by doctors across the West. Cuz yea, it works, even against brain-damaging seizure disorders and stage 4 inoperable cancers.
Yeah, I know what you mean.
I had a friend in California who lost his brother because, at a routine traffic stop, a joint was found in his car. It wasn't even his joint, not that he was believed.
He was sent to prison, for a single joint, and was killed when a fellow inmate was being physically attacked, and he tried to intervene on his behalf.
So, in effect, he got a death sentence for possession of a single joint.
Justice, anyone? No? I thought not.
I'd be growing it today if it was legal, but I'm not willing to lose my property over it, though it was technically made legal to grow industrial hemp in Tennessee in 2015.
Getting a permit is something else again.
Frustrating to say the least.

Mine has a whole section on what we now call "essential oils" - they called them "volatile oils." This is not "eye newt, hair of toad" kind of stuff, it gives the chemical composition for things like rosemary oil and explain how and why it works. There is another section on extracts, the most amazing "herbal" compendium I have ever seen. I cherish this book!
Awesome!
Yeah, my dad gave me some of his mother's high school text books, including Greek and literature, and they would easily be college level today.
Sad what has been done to our educational system, but at the same time, I'd love to get a copy of that book! You're lucky to have it.

I good size bottle of Colloidal Silver is always in our cupboard. We don't even have a "Medicine Cabinet" although we do have some band aids...lol There is a colloidal silver first aid ointment gel that we use when the kids get scraps or the dog gets to licking and develops a hot spot. Anytime we feel the slightest scratchy throat or runny nose, its time to dose up on the colloidal silver
I have thought about making my own because the stuff is pretty expensive, I just have never got around to it. Thanks for sharing this bit of history with us. What a cool book to have in your possession.
This book is amazing... If SHTF, and I could only grab one book, that is the one.
Love the stuff myself and it works wonders compared to the poisons the white coats would have one take.
😊
I just need a couple ounces then $$$ :].
"I did the math once, if you price out silver in colloidal form, it is worth something crazy like a couple million dollars per ounce!" That is funny :D
Ive used Colloidal Silver with great results for varying issues when i was younger. Ty for sharing.
I have not used prescription antibiotics ever since I learned about this stuff. I even used the scary "turn you blue" kind and guess what? I am not blue. Once the better process was developed, I switched. Add in the medical bills it saved me and that stuff is valuable! Who knew?
Good for you 😊
And how could i forget this one,
"You know what DOES turn you blue, every time? Dying." 🤣🤣🤣
Has helped my family a lot.
