My Photo Diary: Recreating An Image
Hello steemians. I'm glad to be sharing another of my mobile photographs with you. Hope you like it as much as I do.
For my photo of the day, I'll be using the above image. I actually took this photo in a bid to recreate something from a photographer I had been following. When I saw it, it caught my interest and I decided to give it a try.
But to give it a try i needed to find a location that had something similar to what I wanted to recreate. So I set out to get a similar location, after a long walking and looking I found something that would do. So I started getting ready for the shoot. One of my favorite quotes about photography is:
"For me, the camera is the sketchbook, an instrument of intuition and spontaneity."- Henri Cartier-Bresson

I stopped when I was done taking the shot and headed home. I prefer doing my photographs in the morning especially where I have to take a photo of a flower or anything in nature. I feel like they are at their best, fresh and beautiful.
Like I've said in my previous posts; I prefer doing my edits at night. So, I set about my daily routine.had breakfast, when to work; then I tutor kids, so I went to go tutor my kids and when I was done I got back home and rested then prepared to go play basketball; can't afford to miss a day.
Training usually ends by 6:30pm and I get home by 8:00pm. Took a warm bath to help relax my muscles, had dinner then set to editing my photo from earlier. Drew my inspiration from a fellow photographer and in a few minutes I was done. Didn't look like what Inspired me but I wasn't aiming for that. Was glad with the results tho.
It was an amazing experience as I got to test out other tools on the Adobe Lightroom mobile app that I hadn't used before. I was able to learn to use the masking tool and a few others. Glad I challenged my abilities and I'm happy with the results I got.
So, always challenge yourself and abilities. You'll be shocked at what you can do. And it's a good way to learn and built on your weakness. We all can do more if we just try. So don't stop trying.
Glad I got the opportunity to share this again with the community and on the Steemit platform.
Thank you Steemit.
