Lion In A Field (Ink Drawing)

Hello Everyone. I hope you're all having a great day.
I made this wildlife drawing of a lion sitting in a field/ grassland. This scene is a quite popular wildlife scene because lions are always sitting or resting most times in the day. I used this drawing in practicing how how to draw fur details in animals an the lion seemed to be perfect for this.

For this drawing, I made use of a black ball point pen and pelican paper.
Here are the steps involved;

I began by drawing the outline of lion's face and body. I added the facial features in this stage.

Next, I drew it's manes and grasses around to depict a field.

Finally, I added tones and details to the fur and it's face for a more realistic look.

I kept on adding details until I got a satisfactory result.
