Eagle In Flight (Ink Drawing)

Hello Everyone. I hope you're all having a great day.

Although it's been a while since i'd seen an eagle in flight, but the image of the elegant and graceful flight is stuck in my mind which prompted me to make this drawing today. Eagles are one of the most powerful birds on Earth. Although not as big as the ostrich or fast like a swift, they are equiped with incredible features that have made them exceptional when it comes to hunting. They are carnnivores and feed literally on any small animal from reptiles, amphibians, mammals and fishes.

I used a black ball point pen and pelican paper for this drawing
Here are the steps involved;

To begin, I drew the outline of the bird spreading its wings. I also added some facial features and patterns which would guide me when shading.

Next, I began shading and adding details to its body.

Then finally, I added some details to it's wings and face until I got a satisfactory result.
