Hello Steemit,

I am very interested in the growing atmosphere that technology has allowed us to be a part of, and not just the Elite. I am currently in my last year of high school, and love to study politics and public policy across the globe. I want to major in political science in college next year to expand my horizon. What got me first into politics was comedian Jon Stewart's unique ability to attack the status quo in a hilarious way. I started watching MSNBC and (yes even) CNN for years. But as I grew older, I learned that the mainstream media does not have the the ordinary citizen in their interests. From perpetuating lies in Iraq, Syria, and Russia; the mainstream media has proven that its only interests is making money off the news by any means necessary. Just as long as the narrative fits the multinational corporations, banks, and the Deep State. I have another Steemit account with my actual name and last name, however I am afraid to continually use it because it may hinder my chances of getting a job in the near future. I see many users on Steemit use random user names, so am I correct in the general sense? Would employers take a look at block chain social media for data on me? I did not right anything dangerous or insane, however I continually battle the establishment. A lot of my posts are on a separate Steemit account of mine. Is it ok to post works with my actual identity, without suffering from consequences in the future? I took down all of my Youtube videos and made them private, and deleted all of my tweets from the past kept a stored archive of them on my desktop.
