To Honor Old Masters - Thomas Moran
Thomas Moran ( 1837 – 1926 ) was an American painter and printmaker of the Hudson River School in New York . Although he mastered multiple printing media including wood-engraving, etching, and lithography, he received renown for his paintings in oil and in watercolor. Thomas Moran was the first American painter to capture the grandeur of Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon.
