Whhhaaaaatt!! Mainstream Education?
I don't know about you, but I don't think mainstream education is a bad thing, not when it takes into consideration the whole Self, that which I mean to be the mind, body and soul – the TOTAL SELF. In my view, the TOTAL SELF will consists of the following: 1. Main The mind is fragile so we have to be careful about the information we take in and how it comes out. Not every bit of information will be good for us, in fact it will depend upon where it comes from and who is the messenger. The main source of information you will know it, it will come from within, it will not always feel comfortable and at times will feel intolerable. But trust it, it will condition your mind to deny information filled with lies of the false kind.
2. STREAM
The stream of information that flows from within has a habit of rising to the surface to guard against information that cause us to develop a lack of self-esteem, lack confidence when we fail to answer questions correctly or partly in mainstream education – now that’s costly! But what’s good about the stream of information that flows from within, it will take you to a level of consciousness far beyond the bricks and mortar. Away from the education institutions into mainstream education where the body of information, not the body of work has information more important more significant to our spiritual health and emotional wellbeing.
3. EDUCATION
The soul is a compass that directs us to a place of grieving and then healing of the mind, body and soul. In this process you will experience pain, self doubt, anger and frustration in yourself and about yourself, but that’s o.k, because when it’s over, you will never again have to put yourself through an education that does not recognise our talents, gifts, uniqueness and greatness. The soul when cleansed will bring a sense of contentment to the TOTAL SELF. At that stage, get ready to be inspired and admired for your wealth of information, as it’s really been an education of learning and a celebration of unlearning. Now that you’ve passed those tests and hand in your assignments, I think you’ll agree that mainstream education was not so bad after all.
So if you ask me what is the purpose of mainstream education, I’d say it’s a journey of enlightenment on your path for greater things to come.
