By the way, I think you're overlooking an opportunity to use this challenge as a promotional tool for Steemit.
It's just an idea, but imagine that you made a dedicated @memechallenge account and used exclusively for these purposes. Then, every time you posted a new meme image for the challenge, it could have the address "steemit.com/@memechallenge" on it-- in a non intrusive fashion, such as a thin line at the top, bottom or running vertical up the side.
People love memes. They love looking at them and they love creating them. If we are going to be producing really great ones here on Steemit, then we should be flooding the internet with all those memes that have an address on Steemit where they can come participate in the memechallenge, and in Steemit as a whole.
Just an idea, and one I think could be very helpful. If you decide you want to do it, I'd be happy to make you an account and logo as my way of helping out.
Thank you a lot. I thought about it but first we need to have stable sponsors..For example at this moment 25 steem is fond for new challenge... without sponsors i can't run memechallenge because i am student :/
if we find sponsors of course i will try to rise up challenge on new level :)
I suppose you are right. The memechllange would be better at drawing new users to the platform if it could boast a worthy reward each week.
I would have given you more than 25 STEEM if I could, but I will need to be putting the rest of my liquid STEEM towards puppy food for the next month. I will certainly help out with this challenge with donations whenever I can though, because I believe that besides the potential for promoting Steemit, you are doing an excellent job of bringing the community together.

Anyone reading this, sorry for my technical glitches as I was uploading my memes, nobody knows why the photos on my end did not upload properly, honestly.
If you were irritated by my repated entries trying to fix the problem, don't be - think how I felt when they would not upload. LOL
I used the same title and entry because it was the same photo, so it would be tied to my same entry.

I have to say, the last 2 days watching all these great memes roll in for our Steemit dad Ned -- has kept a huge smile on my face despite my technical issues trying to get the photo/ meme up for this.
This is a great community gathering opportunity, really, it was brilliant and I am sure @ned MUST be laughing at some of these in good fun, that is part of what I am LOL'g about --- seeing some of these, wondering what is going thru Ned's mind honestly and hoping he is getting some solid laughs!!!!!!
