环尾狐猴

环尾狐猴又称节尾狐猴，属于最原始的灵长类动物。分布于非洲马达加斯加岛南部和西部的干燥森林中。2012年被《世界自然保护联盟》列入濒危物种红色名录：近危，并禁止在国际间交易。

环尾狐猴尾比体长，头体长在30～45厘米之间，而尾巴长达50厘米，体重约2公斤左右。头小，额低，耳大，两耳都长有很多茸毛，头部两侧也是长毛丛生，吻部长而突出，下门齿呈梳状，使得整个颜面看上去宛如狐狸，所以被称为狐猴。

狐猴头部黑白两色构成了鲜明的对比，十分有趣。而最具鲜明特征的是其有11～12个黑白相间圆环长尾，极易与其他狐猴区别开来。
