Through the veil standing upon the crossroads
there do you see the marks left by the sacrifices you have made for love, great gouges transcending the temporal to translucent end, telling the story of the life you saved, or the loss of a friend.
Low do I see my line before me,
setting fires through space and time
to engrave my life into the tablet of your heart,
as you have been emblazoned upon mine.
when people see someone they want in front of them,
when they desire to kiss, and hold them..
rarely do they realize
that generations upon generations
of family linage have made the long journey
through the ages,
and brought them to the lips of destiny
that adorn their lovers countenance.
We do not meet by chance,
there is no accidental glance
we each have an ancient purpose
