Never Be Ashamed Of Who You Are

It's another great day, and as the clock ticks, it tells us we have a lot to do. As I visit this special person of mine at her place of work this morning, and was given a set at one of their halls, I noticed some group of people were having some discussion which really got my attention.

Their discussion had to do shame and all the likes that has to do with it. As a visitor who had interest in their talk, and didn't want to be tagged as someone who had no business in their talk, I had to pretend like I was busy by putting off my headsets which was playing nothing though. All my mind was on their discussion, and I really learnt a lot.

One learned guy, shared a story of this black American seamstress, who refused to give up her bus seat to the white in the mud 1900s. He continued that, it was by law for Black Americans to give up their seats to the whites during that time and also some other laws were using separate restrooms, water fountains and other shameful rules.

Well, the long and short of all what he was trying to say was people really had to just be ashamed just because of who they were and not because of what they have done wrong. I really wonder how life was for those Black Americans that time, and I know you are also very curious to know more.

But one thing we must know is that we can never seal through challenges and difficulties of our lives when we are ashamed of who we are. Being ashamed of who we are always pull us back from whatever we want to achieve, so let's not who we are stop us from achieving what we want to become.
