The supercar that never was — BMW i8 *2

This leads onto it's downfall which is the performance. Although it has everything a super car has in terms of aesthetics, it performs very much like a regular sports car. It can accelerate 0-100km/h in 4.4 seconds. This is fast but really needs to be sub 4 to be considered super car speeds.

The i8 sports a 1.5L turbo charged engine with 228hp and it's hybrid electric motor is 96kW motor with 7.1kWh battery pack outputting 129bhp. This gives it a combined horsepower of 357bhp.
