FARMS: what is agriculture

Today, i want to tell you more about agriculture. But firstly what do you know about agriculture?

What is agriculture?
Agriculture is the cultivation od crops and the rearing of animals for mans consumption or use. Farm today is as a result of agriculture. @farms, we are using agriculture to feed the world.
Agriculture has been in existence right from the day of creation till date. God created the world with fruits animals and vegetations.
Agriculture haas to do with the training of animals. Like the poutry animals and lots more for the benefits of mans use.

Agriculture is classified into two types and they are:

1. Subsistence farming. And
2. Commercial farming.
   Let me throw more light on them.

Subsistence farming
A subsistence farming is a farming whereby the operation of rhe farm is controlled by a single man and his family members. Subsistence farming is a one man business. In this process, the cultivation and the harvesting of the crops are handled and managed by the family. That is tbe havest is only for the family and not for the society.
The farmer always plant farm produce for the family interest. The farmer grows crops to feed himself and his house hold.
Tools that is used are always simple farm tools. Examples like holes, cutlass, shade, shovels rakes and lots more. These tools listed are used for the cultivation of crops by the farmer and his family. Susbsistence farming is one man busisness.

Commercial farming
Commercial fareming is the process in which farm produce is been cultivated for the general public. These farm produce been havested is sold for money to the general public.
This type of farming is operated by so many farmers unlike the subsistence farming. Commercial farming uses mechanise farming which are the use of machines to farm in the farm land. Commercial farming consist of farming equipment or machines like the tractors, harveaters, the digger, the plantter and lots more.
The farm used for this process is very large. The workers are up to 2-20 persons . havest are very large in the type of farming.

Importance of agriculture.

1. Provision of food
2. Provision of shelter
3. Provision of income
4. Provision of clothing
5. For making of furniture
6. For body development.
7. For tourism attraction
   Agriculture covers more than 97% of life of humans on earth. To my principle @femiandrew. It states that without agrixculture farming, the life spring of humans will be reduced. Human eats food and food is gotten from agriculture. So therefore, without agriculture, there will be no life.
