Coin blog (CLOG) #2 : the start of my stack
The 2016 limited edition silver proof set. This was the the first item i started stacking with last year.
More of a collectors item than bullion to be stacked; i still was happy to finally own precious metal. It comes with 4 state quarters, 1 dime, 1 half-dollar, and 1 silver dollar
These coins are all 90% silver (or super close to it, the little card inside says exactly what each coin is made of).
All of them have a proof finish, which makes them all super shiny with that "frosted" look.
I don't remember what i paid for this at the time, but since it was from the US Mint, im sure it had a hefty premium.
If they do a 2017 version, will i get it?
Lol yeah i probably will! (Especially if silver prices stay where they are!)
Did any of you pick this one up last year? Did you like it?
Are any of you looking forward to anything from the US Mint in the future?
Let me know in the comments :)
And as always, please up-vote, re-steem, or follow :D

Let's kick this post.
:D
I stocked up last couple years on some US precious metals - but also scored some other countries, too. Because...you never can be too careful.
If im buying government metals.... my favorites are US and UK..... canada's are no good cause they dont care how many milk spots are on their silver
Got any Australian ones? Mexican?
I bought both of those on a low/zero-over-spot thing at APMEX.
But I also have some Open Currency - yes Open Currency - silver from maybe six or seven years ago; Lakota and Free State Project stuff.
My wife thinks I'm crazy.
Lol i actually have a kangeroo and a libertad in the stack; mexican mint seems to have a high premium too though, i dunno why
Whats open currency?
LOL at the name..."libtard" is close enough, and wall-resistant.
Hahah woops! Libertad**
