- PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PT PIM) North Aceh will recruit tens of thousands of workers in the next two years. The need for skilled labor is to be employed at the NPK fertilizer plant to be built this year and is expected to be completed in two years.
"For the NPK factory only, the construction period I think it takes 2,000 people workforce. This is an enormous amount, "said Director of PT PIM, Achmad Fadiel, Tuesday (27/2/2018).

– PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PT PIM) Aceh Utara akan merekrut puluhan ribu tenaga kerja dalam dua tahun ke depan. Kebutuhan tenaga kerja ahli itu untuk dipekerjakan pada pabrik pupuk NPK yang akan dibangun tahun ini dan diperkirakan rampung dua tahun mendatang.
“Untuk pabrik NPK saja, masa pembangunannya saya pikir butuh tenaga kerja 2.000 orang. Ini jumlah yang besar sekali,” sebut Direktur PT PIM, Achmad Fadiel, Selasa (27/2/2018).
Untuk menyiapkan tenag akerja itu, sambung Fadiel, manajemen PT PIM akan meminta rekanan pembangunan merekrut tenaga kerja asal Aceh. Sehingga, masyarakat Aceh dapat menikmati kehadiran perusahaan tersebut secara nyata.
“Nanti kita mintakanlah tolong diperioritaskan tenaga kerja lokal, asal Aceh. Sedangkan untuk jangka panjang, sambungnya, rekrutmen karyawan PIM per tahun jumlahnya ratusan, itu bekerjasama dengan Universitas Malikussaleh dan Universitas Syiah Kuala,” terangnya.
Dia berharap, perguruan tinggi di Aceh juga menyiapkan tenaga kerja siap pakai untuk industri di Aceh. Sehingga, investor yang berinvestasi dalam Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) Arun, Lhokseumawe ke depan mudah mendapatkan tenaga kerja handal dan profesional di bidangnya.
“Semoga pembangunan pabrik NPK kita mulus, tenaga kerja bertambah dan ekonomi Aceh terus membaik,” pungkasnya.
