Pokemon Go might introduce the metric system in America and UK!

Since the start of Pokémon Go there seems to be a quite noticeable increase in interest regarding the metric system in America and the UK.
As you can see the search requests exploded. Maybe Pokémon will be the app that unites our units of measurement?
Suddenly I became interested in this Pokemon. What amazing phenomenon could make such a miracle! The creator(s) should recieve a Nobel prize of [something].
Next step: Make the US and North Korea finally switch to the global A paper size standard :-)
Interacting with non-US traders also does this. They measure in grams and kilograms, whereas I measure in ounces. I know both and it's good to know both.
Of course it was merely meant as a joke. But it is really amazing to see how far the Internet made the world a village.
Pokemon is again one event that shows how common some interests between every person in the world are.
