Psychoanalysis is an extremely long term type of therapy you can attend that focuses on how you've developed neurosis as an infant, pre-teen and teenager. Although effective when you're not in a hurry to find new ways to behave and take immediate action now, it often feels like submitting yourself to a psychologist using this approach is a waste of time.

However, what if we can speed things up? What if our psychologist doesn't have to go through the trouble of identifying each bit of our personality? This would help them find all the key events during our early development stages. MBTI, according to my recent findings, could be the key to boost psychoanalysis' process.

What is MBTI, really? It's a personality assessment test inspired on famous psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung's work on the brain's cognitive functions. Developed by Briggs and Myers, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator was meant as a profiling tool to help identify women who were fit for war-time jobs during World War II.
