Making the Wrong Decisions on Campus
The excitement of gaining admission into the university can be overwhelming. And a feeling that is that is out of this world. However, it is important to put the emotions in check as any decision made at that point can make or mar.
This is the point to be careful of where you go or the things you do to avoid mistakes that can hunt you for the rest of life.
One of the things to avoid as a student is associating oneself with bad company.
The earlier you figure out why you are in school, the better for you. This is because time runs so fast that any little wasted can be dangerous. When you enter the first year, before you say jack it is the final year where you have to give an account of all the other years wasted.
The people you keep around you can determine whether you remain in school or get rusticated. When you make the mistake of keeping unserious people as friends then it can be tragic. in some schools, if you don’t pass a good number of courses for some number of years can lead to going home.
Just imagine you are in one this schools and you are not serious with your studies or you decide to have friends who not serious as well. Friends who rather than encouraging you to study hard prefers going to every party in school and cruising life.
There are a lot of time to have fun and enjoy life as school. That is after you must have achieved something for yourself and become successful. There is no need to rush into the future which will still come whether we want it or not.
No wonder the saying, there is time for everything in life, time to suffer and time to enjoy and reap the fruits of our labor. Be wise!
