Die zwei Türme / The two towers
Die zwei Türme von Petersdorf auf Fehmarn.
Zum einen der Kirchturm der St.Johannis-Kirche aus dem 13.Jahrhundert. Zum anderen ein Getreidesilo, das von der früheren Hauptnutzung der Insel dem Getreideanbau kündet.
Der Kirchturm ist höher und über weite Teile der Insel sichtbar. Das Getreidesilo ist nicht wirklich hübsch, aber wohl notwendig und praktisch.
The two towers of Petersdorf on Fehmarn.
On the one hand the church tower of the St.Johannis church from the 13th century. On the other hand, a grain silo announcing the island's former main use for cereal cultivation.
The church tower is higher and visible over large parts of the island. The grain silo is not really pretty, but necessary and practical.
