비자, 마스터카드, 페이팔 그리고 우버 등 기업들이 컨소시엄을 구성하고 자금을 투자한다는 계획을 발표하기도 했습니다.

페이스북 코인에 대한 정보들을 찾기 위해 관심이 쏠리고 있습니다.

The block의 기사에 따르면, 페이스북의 자회사인 Calibra에서 페이스북 코인의 단서를 포함한 도메인을 가지고 있는 것으로 보입니다.

Calibra.com 에 접속하면 404 에러 메시지가 보이는데, 소스 코드에서 달러, 유로, 베네수엘라 볼리바르, 짐바브웨 달러 그리고 아이티 구르드 등 법정화폐 정보를 포함하고 있다고 합니다. 이러한 정보들이 페이스북 코인과 어떤 연관이 있는지 불명확하지만, 페이스북의 메시징 앱인 WhatsApp, Instagram 그리고 “messengerdotcom”에 페이스북 코인이 사용될 것이라는 소식들에 근거가 될 수 있겠습니다.

Though the site contains a 404 error message, the source code reveals clues about the coming currency. It contains text of many fiat currencies across the globe, including the U.S. dollar, the euro, the Venezuelan bolivar, the Zimbabwean dollar and the Haitian gourde among others.
While it’s unclear what the inclusion of these fiats means for the currency, the code also bolsters reports that the currency can be used on messaging applications, including Facebook’s WhatsApp. Instagram and “messengerdotcom” also appear in the source code.
