PLAGIARISM
Pagiarism is an offense that attracts severe punishment.

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?

According to my oxford dictionary- plagiarism is a piece of writing that has been copied from someone else and is being presented as your own work.
Plagiarism is not just copy and paste but also stealing an lying.

There are several types of plagiarism but i will talk about just three;

1. DIRECT PLAGIARISM
2. COMPLETE PLAGIARISM
3. ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM

DIRECT PLAGIARISM
This is a word for word transcription of someone else's work without attributes.

COMPLETE PLAGIARISM
This is a severe form of plagiarism where a researcher takes study that someone else created and submit under his/her name, this is theft and stealing.

ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM
This occurs when a person misquotes their source using similar words or sentence structure without attribution.

WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES OF PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT
When traces of plagiarism is found in your work, you will be downvoted by the steem curators themselves, which will lead to loss of resources.
HOW DO I AVOID PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT
1. I must study they topic i want to write
about before writing it down.
2. If i'm attaching any picture i must also
attach the source of which the picture
came from.
Plagiarism is a very big offense in steem community.
I promise to abide by the rules and regulation in the steem community and also avoid plagiarism on anybody's work.
