I wanted to make a perfume bottle that has something unique around it, so I decided to make a spiral around the glass bottle in gold. It is my first time making a spiral and I had to do a bit research how to make the spiral. I was still changing the spiral because I wasn't sure how far I like to have the spiral or how thick I wanted it to be. The cap is also in gold but the centre is from clear glass like the bottle so you can have a peek from above. I gave the perfume a purple colour and included the bottle a hollow pipe to make it more realistic. I think the combination of gold, clear glass and purple match very well together.

This animation I made with the same program, Fusion 360 that I use designing this elegant bottle.

Tutorial

I started with making the spiral. I selected Create > Coil. Then I decided the diameter of the spiral. I also filled in how high I want it to be and the thickness of the spiral.

I changed the appearance of the spiral into gold.

Later on, I sketched a circle that will be the glass bottle. I extruded the circle with 120 mm. After that I split the bottle in two. (Modify > Split body)

For the filling, the perfume, I extruded both bodies with operation Cut. Now the two bodies has a hole. The holes I extruded again but this time with operation New body. Then I smoothen the edges with Fillet . I changed the appearance of the perfume with Relax Water in colour purple.

On top I created a golden plate and the spray with the spray hole. I smoothen the edges of them together with the edges of the spiral.

I used the same technique for the cap like I did with the bottle. The outer part is from gold and the inner part from clear glass, so you can see view the golden spray from above. The edges I smoothened with Fillet.

The last detail is the hollow pipe. I sketched a line that is attached to the spray and selected Create > Pipe. I gave it 2 mm thickness and clicked on hollow.

Now it really looks like a perfume pipe.

I can already visualise the fragrance. It would be sweet, a combination of grapes with woody notes.
