Details of rabbit observation
For this purpose, Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute Savar Dhaka has been studying the rabbit for seven years, food, shelter, various diseases and quality of meat etc. Researches from the results of long research have shown
- Rabbits can be observed in small places with little food and investment.
- Protein, energy, minerals and vitamins of rabbit meat are more than all other animal species and less cholesterol fat and sodium. Besides, their meat is delicious and easily digested and is acceptable for people of all religions.
- The rabbit is fast moving and a female rabbit gives 2-8 children each time. They produce more nutritional meats by eating lower quality food.
- Rabbit can be a job of unemployed young people, women and landless farmers, poverty reduction and employment. Because of this, in order to meet the demand of animal blood in the country, all those involved in poverty reduction should come forward to perform rabbits.
We usually treat rabbits as amateur animals. However, commercial rabbits can be created to meet the demands of animal protein and employment opportunities can be created. Rabbit meat is very tasty and nutritious.
At the age of 5-8 months, the rabbit can be taken when full adult physical weight.
