What is Stunting?
Stunting is a condition where the height of a child is shorter than other people's age.
What causes Stunting?
Lack of nutritional intake during the first 1000 days of life (from fetus to 2 years)
What are the effects?
Children become sick often. When the pain is difficult to recover. Children tend to be short. intelligence is not optimal
How to Prevent it?
Fulfill the nutrition of pregnant women. Check for pregnancy periodically. Meet the nutritional needs of breastfeeding mothers. Complete immunization for infants up to 6 months of age. Eat the right breastfeeding foods.
