State of Serenity - Rambling Poetry
Hoping for the sweet smell of summer
And for the scent of all that that flower-man has sung
It takes all that man can give, but it takes all that man can take
If he truly gives, he truly takes, this true love
And he knows for he feels the sweet kiss of perfect serenity
If only he could tear from his heart the oncoming clouds,
If only he could tear from his heart the heavy cold rain
If only he could tear from his heart the invisible grief
If only he could tear from his heart the would-be despondency
And the bewildering power to remain touched and alive
