Day 882: 5 Minute Freewrite: Friday - Prompt: translator
I went to tokyo last summer and I was not fluent in native language. It was very fun experience. We were group of people on visit trip and we were assigned one translator.
The overall experience with that translator was so amazing because even he did not understood what we were saying all the time. Especially in our English (other non Japanese languages), we were talking one minute and then suddenly a few seconds later the translator would ask us in English "what is the meaning of this?" or "what's the meaning of this?" it was very fun :)
That day in afternoon we visited Higashi Sanjiji and Kyoto center. I have had the best lunch there in the last 1 year! The hot pot I ordered was delicious as well.
Overall my overall experience was quite good, although you can definitely decide to visit there when world situation improves because of Corona.
