Commodore's Log Stardate 97150.53 - Starbase Genesis1

After a long game of cat and mouse, our enemies have finally had their satisfaction of destroying our fleet. The planet is still under Siege, and the attacks continue to arrive. The inevitable has occurred, and fortunately my people were prepared. It remains to be seen if this aggression will continue. In any case, we are simply focused on rebuilding the fleet and formulating new strategies. Obviously, the Cadets are saddened by the lose, as for now there will be no other Missions until the new ships are built.

Captain Dixon is still able to send some Exploration Missions from Genesis2, although that situation remains uncertain, as attacks are arriving there as well. What was a bright moment when we discovered our new planet has now become a sad chapter of defeat. Captain Davis, however, continues to remind me that these are moments along the Hero's Journey in which we face our Shadows, and find those deeper layers of who we are, and what we are capable of facing. Without a doubt, the story doesn't end here!
