Optimizing Potential Community Members
Every member of the community has advantages and disadvantages, that's for sure. Instead of spending time, thought, and energy debating shortcomings and problems, it is better for a community to focus on the strengths of each member to be useful for the growth of all members and organizations to achieve their vision and mission.
Sometimes, these deficiencies are not deficiencies when viewed from different points of view or at different times or by different people. Many probabilities here will later answer why a deficiency is an untapped advantage.
So, let the shortfall occur as long as it does not interfere with the acceleration and harmony of the dynamic community. When we focus on the strengths of each member, we will forget the shortcomings. One member's strengths in one field, can help other members who have deficiencies in that field. Vice versa.
There is no human who has advantages in all fields, especially in the midst of the demands of the age of the importance of specialization. In a way he certainly has flaws. Well, this shortcoming will be covered by the advantages possessed by other members if they support each other, work together.
But the lack of a community member is used as a way to attack by other members who have strengths, so the community will be difficult to develop. Community members who get attacked, will try to attack back with the advantages he has. If he doesn't have any strengths, then he can ask for help from other members. Eventually, unhealthy friction and rivalry will develop between members and groups.
How can you optimize your strengths to cover up your shortcomings?
Each member must be aware of their own potential and understand the shortcomings of other members. Then he is willing to share the potential he has to encourage the progress of other members. Basically, the assistance provided to members is assistance for the progress of the organization.
The board must also be able to map the strengths and weaknesses of each member. A member who has an information technology field can be used to help other members who are weak in that field. Well, this weak member may have potential in other fields that can be utilized, both for himself and other members.
With a circle like this, eventually the community can grow and deficiencies can be covered. At that moment, as the community grows, the deficiencies of the past will become evident in the present and the future. Whos know?
