I prepared an article on first aid today. The purpose of preparing this is to apply first aid without panic in emergencies. So perhaps you can help a child remove a small piece of toy that flees into the throat, or help a person with internal bleeding reach the hospital safely.

So first aid is very important. All individuals must learn.

As long as we live, it is inevitable that we encounter injuries or diseases for various reasons. At various times in our lives, we are at risk of accidents and illness in every environment we are in. When we deal with these situations, the interventionists will play a decisive role in first aid training, survival, prevention of injuries and shortening of the healing process.

In Turkey, home, business, or a large number of our citizens are losing their lives as a result of traffic accidents and natural disasters or remain crippled. In such situations it is extremely important that the first aid recipients, who are affected by the opportunity or who are in the environment because they can not always be a health officer at the scene,

As a general understanding in our society, first aid and emergency help expressions are used instead of each other. However, despite the fact that the emergency aid includes medical interventions, which are done by the health personnel with necessary equipment, First aid is the practice of those who have been trained in this subject and who are made without medicine at the scene.

However, people who have not received first aid training may have objectionable results in their first aid practice. For this reason, it is extremely important that those who will be first-aiders know that they have received first aid training, that their primary purpose is not to harm the person, and that they are not in the interventions that could pose a life threatening threat.

Friends, I'm here for first aid, I want to talk about it. If I can find a wider time, I'd like to give you some tips on first aid.

What is first aid? They are medicines without drugs, on the spot, without any medical equipment, with the aim of preventing any accident or life-threatening situation in which the health officials can not be saved or survived until reaching the scene.

Remember that urgent treatment is something different, first aid is something else. Emergency treatment is the necessary intervention to qualified people in this regard, but first aid is the life-saving intervention that everyone who has been trained in using the materials they find in the place where the event happened.

What are the primary goals of first aid?

Lifting the life-threatening,
Ensuring the maintenance of vital functions,
Preventing the worsening of the condition of the patient /
Facilitation of healing.

First aid consists of 3 basic exercises.

Protection, Notification and Recovery

Protection: Includes the assessment of the incident to prevent acci- dental consequences. The most important process is to create a safe environment by determining the hazards that can occur at the scene of the incident.

Notification: The incident / accident should be reported to the appropriate charities as quickly as possible via telephone or other persons. Here, the person who first helped should be alerted to urgent health care teams without being panicked and calmly calm.

Rescue: Intervention with sick or injured at the scene should be fast but calmly done.
Let me talk a little bit about the features of the first person.

The first person to identify the first person to intervene at the scene, provide the patient or the wounded with relief and fright, take precautions within their own knowledge to prevent the situation from getting worse, intervene if the body is broken and prevent it from seeing the wound of the patient or injury, it does what it needs.

All of this is done in consideration of the circumstances of the patient or injury. If the patient's condition is not urgent, he or she is not seriously ill or life-threatening, he / she should not be moved.
