Karhi Pakora for Lunch
Today we enjoyed delicious karhi pakora for lunch. To make it, we prepared yogurt at home one day earlier. My wife made a mixture of yogurt, water, and gram flour (besan) and mixed it well until smooth. In another pan, she fried chopped onions until they became golden brown. Then she added ginger-garlic paste and tomatoes and cooked them for about 5 to 7 minutes. After that, she added all the spices and cooked them for another 10 to 12 minutes. Then she added the yogurt and besan mixture and let it cook slowly for about 1.5 to 2 hours.
For the pakoras, she sliced potatoes and onions, mixed them with spices, and fried them until golden and crispy. The pakoras were added to the karhi. Finally, she prepared a tasty tempering with cumin seeds, oil, red chili, and fried onions.
We enjoyed it with fresh roti. It was very tasty. I took some pictures and am sharing them with you.
