kala takdir hayat terhenti pada janji
lonceng kematian akan tiba di liang rongga
lonceng tak berdenging diam sudah
satu persatu ruh di badan luruh
mendahului kematian segala tubuh
ruh tunggal akhir kepergian
meninggalkan bangkai
Liang sami' sunyi
kelopak mata melotot
netra bathin tak lagi berkerlip
gunung Thursina ciut kerontang
ari disentuh bak salju tergelincir pilu
dahaga alang kepalang meminta air idaman
selera makan lahap tak lagi tertelan
yang dimakan bayang-bayang
Lonceng kematian, menakutkan
El-maut tak kenal hiba
rupanya merontokkan bulu roma
kerjanya seperti menghempas gunung merapi
memuntahkan lahar ke segala nadi
takut, sungguh menakutkan
ke mana lolongan pedih berlari
se-isi bumi masa bodo
berharap tetesan doa ahlul bait membisik
tak jua tertolong
lonceng kematian tetap jua terjadi....

The roar of anxiety was silent
when the fate of destiny stops at the promise

eyelids bulging
