After a month, I finally managed to finish it!

And

Mostly because you people like to watch the progress of some pieces, I took some screenshot of the progress of this piece during the process, or I tried to do it.

So well let's begin

The process begin like this. in my digital pieces, I do AGAIN the whole drawing over the lines of the traditional one. This is one of the reason I take so long in doing digital art. This photo was my mistake because when I hit the "save" buttton, I didn't saved on a new file, I made it on the original file so, fail. The original file now looks like this.

This is Screenshot I took for the "kicking myself into digital art again" post. Here I was creating the definitive guide lines for the piece and I showed the reference I was using. A photo of the character directly from the game.

When I'm happy with definitive sketch line, I make the lineart. It like the same piece, did it again definitively.

Flat coloring, this part is basically the basic (?), because here you set the main color of the different elements in the piece.

Here I colored the baby dragoon and started to add shades on the character's skin. I noticed the head of the character was quite too small/short in comparison to the reference, so I edited it a bit to make it look more like in the reference.

Colored the skin and baby dragoon, and here, I started to paint the hair.

But here is when my hiatus began. Festivities came, because I was doing this piece in the middle of december (I wanted this to be my last painting of the year :( ) and I stopped drawing on this. I focused mostly on this other piece https://steemit.com/art/@faffy/new-year-incoming which i thought fit more with the holidays and took some days too. I'm too slow for everything.

And after 1 month of hiatus, I decided to return to my piece and finish it for once and for all. That why I didn't took more photos about the progress. I focused mostly on finish it.

The final Paint

Helped myself a little with photoshop and some tricks I know. Put a screenshot of Eversongs Woods as a background I don't know to make backgrounds yet sorry and fixed some color balance for make it look prettier.

Here I let you some Roleplay stuffs nobody ask about.

Luz, was a gift given for her by the hand of a Blood Elf Paladin she is in love. She received an egg and he teaches her how to train take care of nimbo dragons, because the paladin belongs to the Dragon Nimbos order. The egg hatched and now for Faelinara, is her beloved baby or 'kind of'. Faelinara has always an angry actitud like if she were anger with all the world, so, this little baby calms down her hate.

Luz, fue un regalo a manos de un Paladin elfo de Sangre del cual ella está enamorada. Faelinara la recibió cuando apenas era un huevo y él, le enseño a ella a como cuidar de estas criaturas. Los dragones del Nimbo, puesto que él, pertenece a esta orden. La Orden del Dragón del Nimbo. El huevo eclosionó, y ahora ella trata a esta pequeña criatura como si fuese su bebé o 'algo asi' ( ͡° ͜ ʖ ͡° ) .Faelinara es una elfa con una actitud exageradamente difícil, es como si estuviese molesta con el mundo entero. Asi que, este pequeño dragón, calma mucho su odio contra todo y todos.

I'm quite proud of what I did. I'm no good in any painting medium yet, but I want to change that. So, slowly, I'm practicing on different things ^.^ . I'm eager to bring more art, even it's crappy or not. I want to keep doing this as long as I can.

This piece btw, was one of my inktober entries of the past year.
