I woke up that morning feeling very weak and tired, with pains all over my body and a swollen eye. I fought with Sam(my boyfriend) the night before and he beat me to sleep as usual.

I've been dating Sam for 3years and I have always been he's punching bag, whenever I try to correct him, he gets angry. He doesn't like me associating with other guys, he even beat me once for talking to a guy on phone before he later realized it was my cousin but still he didn't apologize for beating me.

Sam is short tempered and quick to anger, he gets angry over everything both relevant and irrelevant and every time he gets angry I tend to suffer it the most. He beats me every time he's angry, he says he loves me that's why he's always beating me so I can learn from my mistakes and be a better version of myself.

I know that Sam loves me so much and I love him too, I would never complain about the beating. All I'm waiting for is, for him to come and see my parents I can't wait to get married to him, we'd make a perfect couple. It's been 3years Now though and he hasn't said anything about seeing my parents but I'd wait patiently.

Well there are lots of ladies out there that falls victim for these kind of relationship, they get beaten and bartered by their so called lover which is not right. Ladies no guy has the right to turn you into his punching bag, you have every right to be loved and cherished. This is called domestic violence not love, even if he claims beating you was a mistake. A mistake shouldn't occur more than once but he beats you once, twice, thrice and he keeps beating you on and on, my dear you are a victim of domestic violence and you have to do something about it fast.

Well, my advice to the ladies out there, don't be blinded by love, if he loves you he won't hurt you. Learn to rule your world and don't let any guy take advantage of you, you are worth much more than slaps and punches.
