The Italian League Serie A season 2021/2022 this weekend has entered its 36th giornata. The two Milan city teams that are fiercely battling for the Italian League title, AC Milan and Inter Milan, have their last three very decisive matches in the race to win the Scudetto this season. AC Milan still leads the Serie A standings with a collection of 77 points and Inter Milan is in second place with 75 points. Week 36 of the Italian League will be opened by the match host Inter Milan who will host Empoli. This match will take place at Inter Milan's home, Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, on Friday (6/5/2022).
Simone Inzaghi's troops are certainly eyeing victory to continue to compete with AC Milan at the top in the title race. While the leader of the temporary standings, AC Milan will travel to Hellas Verona's headquarters, Marc'Antonio Bentegodi Stadium, on Monday (9/5/2022). AC Milan must win the game if it does not want to be overthrown by its rival, Inter Milan. Meanwhile, the third-placed team in the standings, Napoli, who still has a chance, will travel to Torino's headquarters, the Grande Olympic Stadium. Luciano Spalletti's men currently have 70 points followed by Juventus in fourth with 69 points.
The Old Lady will visit Genoa's cage, Luigi Ferraris Stadium, on Saturday (7/5/2022). Two teams from the capital, Lazio and AS Roma are in fifth and sixth place with 59 points respectively. Week 36, the host Lazio will face Sampdoria at the Stadio Olimpico. At the Stadio Artemio Franchi, AS Roma will challenge the hosts Fiorentina who are in seventh place with 56 points. The relegation zone competition is also getting tougher between Salernitana, Genoa, and Venezia. Cagliari who are ranked 17th which is a safe limit are only two points ahead of 18th, Salernitana.
