The Desolate Land: Crying for healing

The land is dry and crack
Looking like the desolate from destruction
Barrenness smiles upon the fertile ground
Water cease to enrich the spring

I watch as the land gives way
For the destruction of ages loom from the present
Our prayers blow up like the smoking gun
Begging for divine intervention

The children no longer cherish cloth
But adore the rag of ages
Looking good like the forgotten glorious days
The time that dream refuse to reveal

What shall we do on this cursed land
The blood of the innocent cried out in vengeance
Crying for revenge
We solemnly live on in fear of our mind

The gods refuse our sacrifice
The supreme being rages their anger on mortals
Our fathers slept on and forsake us
Who will be the saviour?

Heal our land oh Lord, we plead...
